...Ensuring Applications Availability
SusQtech hosting facilities are designed to provide a secure hosting environment with consistent environmental support and built-in redundancy for fail-over protection during common and extreme conditions.
- Full redundancy - available on all infrastructure and network backbone support systems
- N+1 design-Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) ensure power is always available.
- Standby generator power supplies-Generator power available in the event of a power feed failure from commercial power.
- Power Supplies-Redundant power supplies and dual management cards in each switch.
- Cooling Systems-Redundant cooling systems present in all hosting facilities.
- Security-Redundant security systems.
- Redundant Connectivity-9 way redundant direct connections to the internet backbone, redundant Cisco routers and redundant Ethernet switches.
- Temperature and humidity-controlled environment - Redundant water supplies and systems with 24/7 environmental monitoring to ensure temperature control within the hosting facilities at all times.
- Cooling units-maintain uniform 72 degree temperature and 50% relative humidity levels.
- Redundant Liebert water chillers-150 BTUs per square foot; chilled water units with sufficient capacity to carry AC load in the event of a single unit failure; all water required for HVAC is routed in a sheet metal gutter with drain for containment and disposal of water in the event of a leak.
- Compressors-All compressors are monitored and alarmed.
- Moisture sensor alarm system located inside water containment system to notify of any leakage.
- Offsite Media Storage: offsite facility also environmentally controlled and monitored.
