At SusQtech, we believe it is important to give back to our community. As a company, we sponsor and participate in many activities locally and in the Greater Washington, DC area. Here are a few of the areas where we are active:
Clarke County Little League
The Susquehanna Technology Pirates play in the Upper Minors of Clarke County Little League, near our offices in Winchester, Virginia. This team of 8-10 year olds is learning to combine fun and competition by playing baseball, America's pastime.
Capital Area Food Bank
SusQtech participates in the .Org Food Drive to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. This drive is sponsored by Delcor Technologies, one of the leading technology consultants in the Association Industry.
NPower Greater DC Region
SusQtech supports NPower Greater DC Region, a nonprofit technology consulting firm serving other charitable organizations and foundations in Washington, DC, suburban Maryland, and suburban Virginia. SusQtech works with Microsoft and ASAE to help support this organization.
Shenandoah University Entrepreneur Boot Camp
SusQtech plays host to high schools students taking part in Shenandoah University's Entrepreneur Boot Camp, a program to educate aspiring entrepreneurs in the skills necessary to start and run a small business. SusQtech's focuses on how businesses today use technology to communicate.
FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international program for children ages 9-14 (9-16 outside of the U.S. and Canada). It combines a hands-on, interactive robotics program and a research presentation with a sports-like atmosphere. SusQtech sponsors at team from Northern Virginia and members of our management team are coaches for this innovative competition.
