WINCHESTER, VA (June 17, 2008) – The skies above association-land are filled with SharePoint 2007 project launches, SusQtech announced today. Several associations around the United States now have their eagerly anticipated SharePoint-based sites up and running for staff, members and the public. The customers include organizations from all three of the major association hubs -- Washington, D.C., Chicago and New York City.
Major launches in recent weeks include American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA), American Psychiatric Association (APA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), International Carwash Association, Inc. (ICA), National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA), Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS), and Society for Neuroscience (SfN).
AAAA relaunched their public Web site, located at www.aaaa.org on the SharePoint platform. The site is integrated with netFORUM which is used to manage their memberships and provides SharePoint’s Web CMS capabilities. An Intranet for internal communication was the goal of the APA. Their new Intranet allows staff to work together more closely. IIA may be full of internal auditors, but an Extranet application integrated with netFORUM is what they were looking for. Carwashes, Concrete and Risk Insurance may not seem like they have anything in common, but all three organizations launched SusQtech developed Web sites built on SharePoint’s Web content management system. All three organizations also have their new sites integrated with iMIS for better management. You can take a look at www.carwash.org, www.ncma.org and www.rims.org. SfN’s new Intranet was the subject of an educational session at this year’s ASAE Technology Conference and a new employee hiring tool built within SharePoint is popular with the organization.
“SharePoint 2007 has been a big hit with the Association and Non-Profit community,” says Jim LaRocca, SusQtech’s VP. “The reaction has been well beyond our optimistic expectations. Our clients are looking to do some really innovative things online and SharePoint 2007 has proven to be a great platform for accomplishing their goals,” LaRocca further stated. Since dedicating all company resources to SharePoint in 2006, SusQtech has seen its stable of association/non-profit customers grow more than 100%. The company has expanded it offerings beyond SharePoint consulting and implementation to include classroom-based SharePoint training as well.
