SusQtech’s expertise will be on display at SharePoint Fest Chicago July 27, 2011 at the Donald E. Stephens Conference Center. JoAnna Battin, SusQtech’s Director of Technical Services for SharePoint On-Call, will discuss the importance and value of simple information architecture and SharePoint governance policies. Her session, appropriately titled “Do you know who has their hands on your data”, will reveal what every SharePoint administrator needs to know about content security.
“This session will cover how keeping permissions simple, not over-thinking your architecture and implementation, and using FBA roles and AD Groups will guarantee users are granted access to appropriate content,” says Battin. Battin holds multiple Microsoft certifications, and is a 15 year veteran of the association and non-profit industry. She is well versed in the needs of associations, and the challenges they face when implementing SharePoint solution. Prior to becoming the Director of Technical Services, Battin served as aproject manager at SusQtech where she managed full life-cycle SharePoint implementations for dozens of organizations across the nation.
