SusQtech’s Solution Architect, Julie Muccillo will provide thought leadership on the growing trend of using Microsoft ® SharePoint to create dynamic websites while at the SharePoint Connections Coast to Coast Tour and Microsoft SharePoint Boot Camp in August. The national conference will be held August 8-10, 2011 in Chicago, IL and will draw hundreds of industry-leading experts including Microsoft MVPS, SharePoint developers, administrators and consultants. Muccillo’s session is titled “Public Facing Websites: Insights, Tips and Lessons Learned.” Her session is on August 10.
“Until recently associations viewed SharePoint almost exclusively as an intranet or extranet-building tool, “says Muccillo. “My session will be highlighting emerging strategies and tips to make any transition to SharePoint a smooth one. I will be focusing on how the industry is using SharePoint 2010 as a public facing web site platform, while looking at examples of the good, the bad and the ugly.”
For nearly a decade Muccillo has designed intranets, extranets and public websites using the SharePoint platform. She says her extensive SharePoint experience makes her its “biggest fan and strongest critic,” but her unique insights into the platform’s strengths give her the ability to understand clients’ needs and provide strategies and vision for accomplishing their organizational goals.
SharePoint Coast to Coast is one of six stops on the SharePoint Connections Coast to Coast tour. The event is designed to bring SharePoint experts and vendors to large cities across the U.S.
